Old Adobe House with Porch, central Bucharest
This is an extremely rare and well preserved example of an old porch house in Bucharest, remnant of the semi-rural outlying suburbs of the pre-modern city. The house is located in the central-eastern part of the city.
Until the 19th century the houses with wooden porch supported by pillars or a raised veranda were widespread in Bucharest, even for townsmen dwellings from more central areas.
