I booked a tour with Cristina yesterday and it was fantastic. She took me around the city to a lot of art déco buildings and in the meantime explained the background about the architectural style comparing it to other styles to be found in Bucharest, such as the romanian style. I got a very good understanding on the background and development of art déco in Bucharest and could ask many questions including those about daily life in Romania in past times and nowadays. Together we discovered the interior of some of the buildings and admired the architectural details on staircases and foyers of the buildings.
