Picturesque late 19th century Bucharest house

February 5, 2011

This is a picture of the windows of a shabby, small, late 19th century lower class house, from one of Bucharest’s suburban neighborhoods. The eave brackets, the grape-vine and the rounded arch windows make a metaphorical image of the patriarchal Bucharest.

I warmly invite you to join me on my specially designed walking tour through Bucharest’s traditional neighborhoods – for more information please see my tour page –https://unknownbucharest.com/walking-tour-the-old-neighbourhoods.
