Characteristic Middle-Class Late 19th Century House with Frieze (Soseaua Viilor)

Characteristic turn of the 20th century middle-class house in the former industrial peripheral area of the city, populated mainly with laborers working in the nearby factories – Filaret district, south of Carol Park area. The house may have been built before the park being set up in 1906. Typical wagon type ‘Little Paris’ style house with the characteristic frieze under the eaves and carved wood brackets, a small piece of local identity.
